Has it really been 5 months?

Wow! Has it really been 5 months since I last reported on the Varner family? Well, a lot has happened since. First of all, we lost our baby #5 by in December. It was a difficult time for our family but we got through it somehow. We are so grateful that we have the four that we have we will probably be seeing our next baby in a year or two.

Also, another significant event is that Tami has started school again. She already has a B.A. but she is going back to get her elementary education license. She will be done next April and hope to teach 3-4 grade sometime later.

Elijah 7 next month. He has been homeschooled this year. He likes it but it is hard work for mom and dad. He has been admitted into a gifted school for 3rd grade for next year so that will be nice.

Sam is now 5 years. He is starting to read really well now. He loves to play with his transformers.

Charlie and Clark are growing up fast. I can't believe they are three already! I hope to get them potty-trained by next month. Oh, that will be sooo nice not to have diapers in the house for a while.

Marcus is almost done with his first novel The Freaky Five. He hopes to get it published sometimes this year. He is still working at One on One Marketing and likes it there. He also working with his brother Clark to start an advertising business on the side. He is quite the busy dad.

Well, that is the update on the Varner ohana. We are all heathy and are doing well. Hopefully it doesn't take me 5 months to make the next posting.
